Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In a diffusion joining process where joining members are heated to a temperature below the solidus curve in vacuum or a nonoxidizing atmosphere and a pressure is maintained, joined products are transferred to a cooling chamber by a carrier under the vacuum condition, and the product is forcedly cooled to a temperature below the recrystallization temperature through a inert gas. While the product is being cooled, the temperature in the diffusion joining chamber is maintained at the same level or the chamber is heated more than that temperature. The cooled product is again transferred to the joining furnace by the carrier and heated again without applying any pressure.
