Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain flocculating flock from which water is easily removed, by detecting the concn. of a sludge in case when feeding sludge is mixed and stirred through adding a flocculating agent, and automatically controlling the stirring intensity on the basis of the detected concn. CONSTITUTION:The titled equipment is composed of a feeding device 3 for the material to be treated, a flocculating agent mixing device 6 and a pug mill 7 which mexes said material plus flocculating agent supplied from both devices 3 and 6. On the midway of a sludge feeding path (r) to the device 3, a device 15 which detects the concn. of the sludge is installed, and the signal from the detecting device 15 and the signal from a setter 16 are inputted into a comparator 17. Then, stirring intensity of a stirring decice 7a is automatically controlled by commands given to an operation circuit 18 on the basis of the result of the comparison.
