Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a composite semipermeable membrane which is obtained by causing crosslinking polymn. of polyethylene imine and a specific amino compound monomer on a porous base material with a multifunctional crosslinking agent, and which has superior selective separability and a high rate of water permeation. CONSTITUTION:A mixed soln. contg. polyethylene imine and an amino compound having >=2 pieces of primary and/or secondary amino groups in one molecule is coated on or impregnated in a porous base material, thereafter it is allowed to contact with a multifunctional crosslinking agent that can react with primary and secondary amino groups to cause crosslinking polymn. of the polyethylene imine and the amino compound monomer, thence it is heated, whereby a composite semipermeable membrane is produced. The amino compound monomer is expressed by the formula I, formula II, formula III and formula IV. The multifunctional crosslinking agent has >=2 pieces of functional groups such as acid halide groups, isocyanate groups, halogen sulfonyl groups in one molecule and polysulfone, polyacrylonitrile, etc. are used for the porous base material.
