Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a semipermeable membrane of high heat and chemical resistances and high rates of water permeation by producing a polysulfone semipermeable membrane by the use of a high polymer material soln. prepd. by mixing an aromatic polycarbonate with an aromatic polysulfone.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of an aromatic polysulfone and an aromatic polycarbonate of 99/1W50/50 weight mixing ratios is dissolved in an org. solvent such as, for example, dimethylformamide, or dimethylacetamide in such a way that the polymer is contained at 10W40wt% in total basing on the entire weight of the soln., following to which the soln. is molded by a wet or dry and wet type method.
