Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the sensor by which simple and very accurate optical measurement can be performed by dividing the wavelenth of wavelength controlled laser light and passing it through an optical sensing element. CONSTITUTION:The wavelength controlled laser light which is transmitted through optical fiber 2 is guided to a wave divider 13 through an optical coupler 11 and a lens 12. At a focal point of the laser light having a specified wavelength which is selectively divided by said wave divider 13, is provided the optical sensing element 14 which receives external force and varies optical transmitting characteristics on the whole. The laser light which is modulated based on the external force is inputted into a wave combiner 15, and synthesized. Then the light is focussed by a lens 16 and introduced into optical fiber through an optical coupler 17.
