Abstract
PURPOSE:To obviate the occurrence of errors in distance measured value by preventing external distance measuring light from being received as stray light in a photodetecting lens system. CONSTITUTION:A light transmitting lens 1 is provided in a light transmitting metallic lens-barrel 8 and a light source 6 is disposed on this optical axis focal plane. This light source 6 is driven by a light transmitting circuit part 13, by which light modulation is applied thereto to provide the modulated waves for distance measurement. Also, part of the light output from the light source 6 is entered to an optical fiber disposed in order to be used as a correcting optical path 5, and is transmitted as a distance measuring light wave to a measurement point (a). The reflected light from an object 14 to be measured is entered through a parallel glass 9 to a photodetecting lens 2. The light condensed by the photodetecting lens is conducted to a photodetector 7, and the output photoelectrically converted by the photodetector 7 is inputted to a photodetecting circuit part 12, whereby phase detection is accomplished.
