Abstract

PURPOSE: Ginseng or its treated product, vitamins, and when needed, calcium are added to produce the objective feed for poultry having effect for growth acceleration, weight increase in laid eggs or elongation of egg-laying periods.
CONSTITUTION: To usual feed for poultry, are added ginseng or its treated product, such as essence or squeezed residue, at least one selected from the group consisting of vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, vitamin C, folic acid and choline and, when necessary, calcium in such an amount as it becomes more than 150wt%, preferably more than 200wt% based on the standard required amount.
