Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve both characteristics of vibro-suppression and vibro-isolation of a mount, by coupling a flange member at the side of an engine and flange member at the side of a car body with stopper rods and forming the mount in such a manner as to obtain the larger spring constant for larger relative displacement amplitude of the both members while the smaller spring constant for smaller amplitude. CONSTITUTION:Rubber bellows 5 constituting an air spring are formed in two rows, then a intermediate ring 6 of additional weight is interposed between the rows simultaneously a flange 7 at the side of an engine and a flange 11 at the side of a car body are coupled by stopper rods 18 equipped with a rubber insulator 21 through brackets 14, 15, and their action is performed in such a manner as to obtain the larger spring constant for larger relative displacement amplitude of the both flanges 7, 11 while the smaller spring constant for smaller amplitude. In this way, both characteristics of vibro-suppression and vibro-isolation of the engine can be improved in accordance with the weight setting of the intermediate ring 6 to reduce a level of noise in a car room.
