Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a switching element and to improve the stability of the output of the element by suppressing the variation in the storage time of the switching element. CONSTITUTION:When the saturation of a transistor (Tr)21 is raised to increase the storage time, the time duration of the primary current of a power transformer 4 is extended, the inverted input voltage of a differential amplifier 36 is raised, and the output voltage of the amplifier is lowered. Thus, the base bias of the Tr37 is reduced, and the operating voltages of the Tr10, 11 and the primary coil voltage of a pulse transformer 15 are lowered. In this manner, the base currents of the Tr20, 21 are reduced, and their saturation degrees can be lowered. Thus, the storage times of the Tr20, 21 are shortened, and the primary current of the output power transformer 4 is shortened in the period of time.
