Abstract

PURPOSE: To operate in a theoretical air-fuel ratio through the whole operation range by providing a primary system of a compound carburetor with a solenoid valve for compensating an air-fuel ratio and a negative pressure controlling solenoid valve which is opened in an output operation range.
CONSTITUTION: A main nozzle 5 of a primary bore 1 is communicated with a float chamber 8 through a primary fuel well 6 and jet 7. A channel having a solenoid valve 1 for compensating an air-fuel ratio, a fuel passage 12 for compensation and an auxiliary jet 13 is permitted to communicate with said well 6 and a solenoid valve 11 is opened and closed by an electronic control device 14 which receives signals from an O2 sensor 15 and detectors 20 of various kinds. Said fuel passage 12 is provided with a branched passage 16 having a negative pressure operation valve 17, while the venture negative pressure is introduced into a negative pressure chamber having said operation valve by actuating a solenoid valve 19 for controlling a negative pressure, said solenoid valve 19 being released only at an output operation range and thereby the quality of fuel is increased.
