Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect a faint force by amplifying the force mechanically through a seesaw mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When force (f) acts on the left end of a beam 1, the beam 1 turns centering around a movable supporting point 2 to the counterclockwise direction and ascends it right end. Ascending force F proportional to the length of the beam 1 acts on the right end of the beam 1, so that an upper bellows 4 is compressed and a lower bellows 5 is extended. The change of the inner pressure of each bellows 4 and 5 is transmitted to a diffusion type semiconductor pressure sensor 12 in the pressure measuring room 10 through a pressure transmission media 11. An output signal from the pressure sensor 12 is amplified in an amplifier 13 and then outputted.
