Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a reduction in the photosensitive characteristics of a waterless lithographic original plate with the passage of time by laminating a photosensitive resin layer made of high-molecular photosensitive substance and a silicone rubber layer on a support having rubberlike elasticity in succession to form the original plate. CONSTITUTION:A support of natural or synthetic rubber having 0.01-1mm. thickness is coated with a layer of a high-molecular photosensitive substance which has >=1,000mol.wt. and is photoinsolubilized or photosolubilized when irradiated with active rays of light in 0.5-30mum thickness. On the layer a silicone rubber layer having 1-10mum thickness is laminated to form a waterless lithographic original plate. The photosensitive groups of the photoinsolubilizable high-molecular photosensitive substance are olefin, acrylic, etc., and the photosolubilizable high-molecular photosensitive substance includes naphthoquinone-1,2-diazido-5-sulfonate of phenol- novolak resin.
