Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove metallic oxides, catalytic metals, etc. deposited on small holes or the peripheries thereof in a spinnneret apparatus, by jetting a jet water stream at a specific jetting pressure or above on the spinneret apparatus cleaned by the salt decomposition method, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A spinneret apparatus 8 used for the melt spinning of a thermoplastic polymer is treated with any one of the salt decomposition, solvent dissolving or thermal combustion or a combination thereof, and then with a jet water stream by a high-pressure cleaning apparatus. Water sucked from a water tank 1 through a filter 2 is pressurized by a compressor 3 and jetted from a nozzle 6 attached to the tip of a jet gun 5 to the spinneret apparatus 8 in the form of a jet water stream 7.
