Abstract

PURPOSE: To relieve the exhaustion of a circulating etching soln. and avoid the clogging of spray nozzles by capturing and recovering small metal pieces in the etching soln. after etching a substance with moving vanes each having many small holes in a recovering unit.
CONSTITUTION: An etching soln. is sprayed 1 on substance 2 such as metal plate, and the soln. contg. small metal pieces is allowed to flow down to recovering unit 10 along partition wall 9 between etching chamber 7 and lower vessel 8. The soln. flowing in unit 10 is passed through the small holes of arched moving vanes 11 at point A and returned to vessel 8. On the other hand, the small metal pieces are captured with vanes 11, shifted to point B, detached from vanes 11 with spouting water 13, dropped onto filter 4", and recovered. The metal pieces gathered on filter 4" are taken out together with filter 4" as required.
