Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a film having excellent heat resistance and non-tackiness at a relatively low temperature, by mixing an inorg. heat-resistant paint with a Teflon paint, coating a substrate with the mixture and baking it.
CONSTITUTION: An inorg. heat-resistant paint such as a sodium silicate paint or an aluminum phosphate paint and a Teflon paint such as tetrafluorochloroethylene resin are mixed together in a weight ratio of 1:0.5W2 by using a homogenizer. A thoroughly degreased substrate such as metal sheet is coated with the mixture, and baked at 400°C for 10min to form a durable film on the surface of the metal sheet. Said inorg. heat-resistant paint can be obtd., for example, by mixing α-alumina or silica as a filler with an aq. sodium silicate soln. and further mixing primary aluminum phosphate or zinc oxide as a hardener with the mixture.
