Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a signal transmitter with decreased error, by providing two scale conversion variable resistors and switching them to two types of scale converting values. CONSTITUTION:A scale converting variable resistor 2 is set to (1/10<n-1>) and a signal applied to a line 11 is processed for (1/10<n-1>) and applied to an AD converter 3. When the signal on the line 11 is greater and the AD converter 3 overflows, a latch circuit 6 is latched with an overflow signal and a relay 8 is operated. Then, since a signal is applied to the AD converter 3 via a scale converting variable resistor 9 set to (1/10), the entire scale is set to (1/10<n>). Outputs 41-4n of the AD converter 3 are transmitted together with a flag 7 of the latch circuit 6.
