Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify an interface circuit between a signal soure and a microcomputer, by measuring a duty ratio of a signal by means of a microcomputer without the use of a counter, a timer circuit and the like. CONSTITUTION:When a program starts, a number N equivalent to a measuring time is set at a counter 14 of a RAM11, and an oscillating signal from a given signal souce 4a selected and assigned by an input data line connected to an interface circuit 12 is inputted to a microcomputer 1. A microprocessor unit (MPU)9 detects a level in a data. When[a signalnot equal to 0]is set to[NO], a counter 14 counts -1 at each loop, and[a signalnot equal to 0]is set to[YES], a counter 13 conts +1 and further a counter 14 counts -1. When the counter 14 attains ''0'', the MPU9 computes and finds a duty ratio from accumulating addition values M and N of the counters 13 and 14, operating D=M/N.
