Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify an interface circuit between a signal source and a microcomputer, by installing a microcomputer equipped with a means for computing a duty ratio based on counting of the number of the types of loops generated at an ON/OFF time. CONSTITUTION:When a program starts, an oscillating signal of a signal source 4a selected and assigned by a signal source selecting circuit 3 is inputted to a microcomputer 1. A microprocessor unit (MPU)9 determines the presence of a rise in a data. If a rise signal is produced, a counter 13 of an RAM11 counts +1, and if[a signal=0?]is brought to[NO], a first loop is repeated. If[a signal=0?] is brought to[YES], a counter 14 counts +1, and a second loop is repeated. If[a signalnot equal to 0]is brought to[YES]and a counter 16, counting -1, goes to ''0'', the MPU9 computes and determines a duty ratio from accumulating addition values M of the counters 13 and 14 by operating a Formula D=M/(M+N).
