Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a user possible use of a large program, by allotting an RAM to the memory address of the CPU and a video RAM to the I/O address of the CPU by turning over the higher rank and lower rank.
CONSTITUTION: In an RAM3, a user's program is written and the work area of a CPU1 is formed, and a 32KB is assigned to the RAM3 as in the case of RAM12. The higher rank and lower rank of the address of the RAM3 are connected to the higher rank bit and lower rank bit of the memory address of the CPU1, respectively. Moreover, the video RAM12 is inversely connected so that the higher rank and lower rank bits of the address of the RAM12 may become the lower rank and higher rank bits of the I/O address of the CPU1, respectively. When this configuration is applied, addresses are set against an ROM2, the RAM3, and the RAM12 as shown in Fig. a. Moreover, it is arranged that the user's program will not become narrower than the RAM12.
