Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve durability of a measuring instrument, and also to elevate workability of a repetitive measurement, by constituting a constant-pressure lock state in case of a measurement, without depending on friction fitting. CONSTITUTION:In case of a measurement, an operation dial 9 is rotated clockwise. As a result, in order to make preparations for the measurement, a spindle 3 is moved backward by a rack through an inclined surface 26, a pin 27, a rotating body 10, a twist coil spring 11, a rotating shaft 8, a pin 19 and a pinion 7. Subsequently, between an anvil 2 and a tip 3A of the spindle 3,an object to be measured is placed, the operation dial 9 is rotated in the reverse direction, and the tip 3A is made to press-contact with the object to be measured. When the operation dial 9 is further rotated in the advancing direction of the spindle 3 in this state, the rotating body 10 is driven counterclockwise relatively against the rotating shaft 8 due to friction fitting of the inclined surface 26 and the pin 27, therefore, the coil spring 11 connecting both of them is wind-clamped, and as a result, a relative rotation of the rotating body 10 against the rotating shaft 8 is allowed.
