PURPOSE:To enable to transmit heat at a place having a particular form in a simple and efficient manner, by constituting a regular-shaped heat pipe into a unit heat pipe, and integrating or combining a plurality of such unit heat pipes into a required form. CONSTITUTION:Utilizing regular-shaped heat pipes B as unit heat pipes, two unit heat pipes are coupled together, for instance, by inserting a condensing section 5'' of a unit heat pipe B2 into a heating section 4' of another unit heat pipe B1. A required number of unit heat pipes are coupled together in the same way. With such an arrangement, working fluid heated at heating section 4'' of the heat pipe B2 releases heat at condensing section 5'', and the heat released at the condensing section 5' in turn heats and vaporize the working fluid at heating section 4' of the heat pipe B1. The vaporized working fluid releases heat at condensing section 5'. By making the unit heat pipes B in various forms, it is enabled to utilize the same for transmission of heat to a place having a particular shape in a simple and efficient manner.
