Abstract

PURPOSE: A gas oil composition for Diesel engine having improved low-temperature flow properties, slightly changing the distillation properties, obtained by adding a specific petroleum paraffine wax and an improver for flow properties to a gas oil for Diesel engine.
CONSTITUTION: (A) preferably 0.1W0.7wt% petroleum paraffine wax consisting essentially of 23W28C saturated hudrocarbons and (B) an improver for flow properties (preferable example, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, polyalkyl meth acrylate, alkenylsuccinic acide amide, and their combinations) are added to a light oil for Diesel engine to give the desired composition.
