Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a detecting sensitivity, by a method wherein a pressure produced at both sides of a K arm an's vortex street generating substance is fed to a room having an isosceles triangular section, and a vibrating plate, having a vibrating fulcrum positioned at a top, is mounted in a room to find a discharge from the number of vibrations thereof. CONSTITUTION:A room 10, having an approximately triangular section, is formed at a center of a housing 7, pressure introducing holes 8a and 8b are provided in wall surfaces 11a and 11b thereof, and are connected to parts in the proximity of both sides of a K arm an's vortex street generating substance through holes 9a and 9b. A vibration plate 12 is inserted into the room 10 so that it is located in a play at the periphery, and one end 13 is rockably secured with a bearing 14 acting as a fulcrum. A plate 23 is installed to the end of the room 10 located facing and opposite to the bearing 14, and light is fed through the hole in the plate 23 through optical fibers 17 and 18 to find a discharge through measurement of the number of vibration of the vibrating plate 12. This causes the vibration plate 12 to be firmly adhered to the wall surface 11a and 11b, which results in bettering interception of the transmission of vibration and improving a detecting sensitivity.
