Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate machining and positioning of an oscillating surface between detecting elements, by arranging an angle in a tubing member to be arranged in a flow passage, and also by installing a plurality of flow velocity detecting elements onto this angle. CONSTITUTION:Top and bottom tapped holes 57 and 58 are provided on side walls 52 and 54, respectively, of an angle member 50, and a probe 56 is securely fixed by screwing screws 60 and 62 into the tapped holes 57 and 58. And then, in order to fix the probe 56 to a pipe 68, an oscillator 70 is directed toward a hole 72 and the angle member 50 is inserted into the pipe 68, and it is stopped at a prescribed position and a screw 76 is screwed into a tapped hole 66 through a tapped hole 74. And therefore, if the tapped hole 74 for the screw 76 is accurately positioned in the direction of radius of the pipe 68, parallelism between two facing oscillators can be easily maintained. It is possible, by using this mechanism, to facilitate machining and positioning of an oscillating surface between the detecting elements.
