Abstract
PURPOSE:To make mangetic flux to interlink with a driving coil as constant during the current carrying period, and to reduce ripple of torque of a DC motor by a method wherein notches or holes are provided in a yoke plate to supply constant magnetic flux to the driving coil facing with permanent magnets. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic field to be generated by the permanent magnets of a rotor 1 arranged with N-S poles alternately is made to form a closed magnetic path between the mutually facing yoke plates 5, 7 interposing the coils 2, 3, 4 between them to form the DC motor, while the notches A or the holes are provided in the yoke plate 7 facing the rotor 1 thereof facing to the positions having the maximum interlinking flux density during the current carrying period of the coils 2-4. Accordingly by making the distribution of magnetic flux density to be distorted at the parts thereof, distribution of magnetic flux positioning during the current carrying period in the respective coils 2-4 can be made to approach the constant value, and generated motor torque can be made to approach the constant torque reducing ripple of torque.
