Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the peak temperature of a tuning fork type quartz oscillator, by setting the proper measurement for the oscillating branch of said quartz oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The basic wave frequency f0 is set as f0=kh/l<2> and the primary harmonic frequency f1 is set as f1=Akh/l<2> respectively, where (h) is the width of the oscillating branch of a tuning fork type quartz oscillator and (l) is the length of the branch. And A 6, 6, 7 shows the oscillating branch, theta is the cut angle and (t) is the thickness of the oscillator. When the length of branch is varied with a constant width (h), the peak temperature Tp shows no considerably big change with the basic wave 10 and has a big change with the primary double harmonic wave 11. Accordingly the desired temperature TP is obtained by setting the proper (h) and (l). Thus TP=80 deg. is obtained with theta=6 deg., h=300mum, l=2,400mum and f=240kHz respectively.
