Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the accuracy of the input/output current ratio, by supplying the base current of a transistor from a power supply added for bias use and a transistor.
CONSTITUTION: If the current amplification factor β of all transistors is equal to the emitter area, the output current IO flowing out of each fan-out is equal amon all transistors to the current IIN flowing through an input signal current 13. That is IO=IIN/[1+(n-1)/β2}≃ IIN{1-(n+1)/β2]. Accordingly the error between IIN and IO is compressed down to (n+1)/2. Furthermore the bases of the output transistors 15, 17∼(2n-1)+14 are connected to a voltage source and function as the base earths. As a result, the output impedance is set at an extremely high level when it is viewed at the side of the collector.
