Abstract

PURPOSE:To avoid generation of foam in a cylinder by returning the residual fluid that is left after subtracting the liquid that has flown in the cylinder from fluid that has flown in a fluid flow meter from its inside to the fluid return channel. CONSTITUTION:A fluid inlet channel 42, fluid discharge channel 46 and fluid- return route 32 are formed in the main body 41 of a flow meter. The fluid flows from the inlet channel 42 in the direction of x and flows through fluid channels 51 and 55. After flowing through a cylinder 60, it flows through fluid channels 56 and 52 on the other side and it is discharged from the discharge channel 46 in the direction of y. Out of the fluid that has flowed in the portion that has not flowed into the cylinder return-flows in a fluid return chamber 31 and flows through the return channel 32 in the direction of z to return to the tank. Accordingly because the fluid constantly return-flows in the return chamber 31, its temperature is comparatively low and it cools the fluid in the cylinder 60, thereby avoiding generation of foam therein.
