Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of gas and seizure of vanes, by dividing a sliding vane into a plurality of parts so that a plurality of sealing lines can be obtained, and arranging the plurality of sliding vane parts to be slidable relatively to each other along a dividing surface or surfaces. CONSTITUTION:According to the present invention, a first vane 40 and a second vane 41 superposed on each other are so disposed in place that they urged into contact with a piston 17 by a spring 23. Resultantly, two sealing lines for separating a suction chamber 27 from a compression chamber 28 can be obtained. Here, since these two vanes 40, 41 are designed to be slidable relatively to each other and disposed in the same place, they are slided substantially in the same way along with rotation of the piston 17. By thus employing a plurality of vanes superposed on each other, it is enabled to reduce leakage of coolant gas to a great extent since pressure difference on the opposite sides of respective vanes can be reduced.
