Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the iron loss of a field device of a DC electric machine and to effectively secure a field coil of the machine by mounting the coil on poles formed by an extrusion, then forming a notch on the inner peripheral surface of each pole, extending both ends of each pole and supporting the coil. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical yoke 12 is internally extruded at an equal interval in a circumferential direction, and poles 13 are formed. After a field coil 4 is mounted on the poles 13, notched grooves 13a are cut on the inner peripheral surface of the poles 13, swelled parts 13a are formed by drawing at both side ends of each pole 13, and the coil 14 is supported from the inner peripheral sides. In this manner, the iron loss of the inner periphery of each pole 13 can be reduced, and the coil 4 can be effectively secured.
