Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an analog output of both polarities, by applying an output of a DA converter of monopolarity output to an operational amplifier with negative feedback through a parallel connection of a capacitor and a switch. CONSTITUTION:Switches S1-S255 are controlled with a digital signal IN. When a negative output is obtained, switches S301 and S302 are closed, and after capacitors C1 and C2 are reset, switches S301 and S302 are opened. Since the charge stored in the capacitor C1 and the capacitor C2 is equal, a voltage of -Vn(C1/C2) is produced at an output 2, where the Vn is a voltage applied to the capacitor C1. When a positive output is obtained, the switch S302 is closed and after the voltage Vn is applied to the capacitor C1, the switch S301 is closed and the switch S302 is opened. The charge of the capacitor C1 is transferred to the capacitor C2 and a Vn(C1/C2) is obtained at an output 2.
