PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a high-resolution D/A converter easily by using two capacitors of the same capacity and an integrating circuit. CONSTITUTION:Electric charge of capacitor C1 is divided into two equally by connecting capacitor C1 in parallel to capacitor C2 of the same capacity, and this connection is cut again. All electric charge divided into two is transferred to capacitor C3 by differential amplifier 20 which is subjected to feedback by capacitor C3. If this operation is repeated n-number times, Q/2n of electric charge is transferred at the n-th operation. Consequently, when a control circuit is provided which supplies a digital signal through switch SW1 or SW2 and controls respective switches, Vout which was subjected to D/A conversion can be obtained. Since error of linearity of this D/A converter is dependent upon only capacitors C1 and C2, resolution can be improved by matching of capacities of two capacitors.
