Abstract
PURPOSE:To compensate non-linearity of the converter output by a method wherein a variable capacitor C1 whose capacity changes according to the measured quantity such as pressure or pressure difference and a fixed capacitor are charged and discharged, so that the pulse width signal of the frequency corresponding to the sum of both capacitors is generated and used. CONSTITUTION:A variable capacitor C1 whose capacity changes according to the measured quantity such as pressure and a fixed capacitor C2 are provided. C1 and C2 are connected to an operating amplifier OP and a comparator CO via switches SW1 and SW2. The comparator CO has hysteresis characteristics and drives SW3 by the pulse width voltage SW of the frequency corresponding to the sum of C1 and C2 which is generated by charging and discharging C1 and C2. Standard voltages -ES2 and +ES1 are switched 3 and the output voltage EO is obtained from an amplifier AMP through a filter circuit FC and at the same time a feedback circuit which has a coefficient multiplier which multiplies EO by k is provided. With this constitution, the non-linearity of the output EO can be compensated by selecting suitable value of coefficient k. And the voltage ES2 can be eliminated by selecting suitable value of C2.
