Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable improving of reliability and a working efficiency of a continuity test of a printed board, by installing a special adapter which fits an under surface of a standard adapter and matches a through hole grid pitch of a printed board. CONSTITUTION:A pointed reference contact probe 6 is filled from the bottom in a grid pitch hole 11 bored in a substrate, grasped by a vertical mechanism (b) positioned facing and opposite to a placing table (a), of a tester body, whereon a printed board (e) to be tested is placed. An upper adapter 1, which is constituted in the same manner as a reference contact adapter connecting a lead wire group 9 to a tester (c) with a connector (d), and a lower adapter 2, which is specialized at each type of a grid pitch of a trouble hole in a printed board (e) and engages the bottom of the upper adapter 1, are installed. An electric connection of the reference adapter to the special adapter is made through end-connection of a flat end contact probe 7, reinforced with a rim frame 4, to a small pointed contact probe 8.
