Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a suction blower to be utilized with high efficiency by making successive spindles wait for thread tying until the multiplicity of opening of suction valves is decreased, when the multiplicity of opening of the suction valves is increased, so that the range of the multiplicity is always retained in a predetermined limit. CONSTITUTION:A suction blower 1 generating negative pressure for surveying a thread end from a wound roll 2 upon thread cut, in connected to a suction nozzle 4 in a winding unit (not shown) having a plurality of spindles, through a duct 3. Further, a thread pass detector 7 is provided between a supply pipe 6 and a winding drum 5 for detecting no thread condition or thread cut condition so that a detected signal is delivered to a winding unit controller 8, thereby a suction valve 13 is opened to suck a thread end from the suction nozzle 4. When the multiplicity of opening of the suction valves 13 is increased, the successive tying of threads is suspended until the multiplicity is decreased. With this arrangement, load fluctuation may be less thereby the efficiency of the blower 1 is enhanced.
