Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform image formation of high speed and high reliability without compressing a toner layer by disposing a recording electrode having openings or a magnetic pole between a charged toner layer and a recording body and performing recording. CONSTITUTION:A toner is coated to prescribed thickness on a grounded silicone rubber roller 1 by a blade applied with -240V voltage. The toner is charged to a negative polarity, and is fed to a recording part according to the revolution of the roller. A polyester sheet 5 which is vapor deposited with aluminum and is opened with multiple micropores is disposed on the recording body 4 side in the recording part. A transfer roller 6 which is applied at all times with +160V voltage is disposed in the lower part of the recording body, and +100V voltage is applied to the auminum conductive layer of the electrode 5 durng recording and -50V while not in recording. A magnetic toner is used as the toner, and it is possible to perform conveyance and attraction by magnetic forces and to apply AC to the roller 1.
