Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent missing of dot etc. from occurring by a method wherein when the temperature of a print head detected at the start of printing does not reach the desired value the print wire of the print head is driven, controlled and preheated by the desired displacement that does not reach a printing displacement. CONSTITUTION:At the beginning of printing a temperature detecting signal SC of a temperature sensor 24 is inputted to the print controlling part 20. When the signal SC does not reach the preset temperature, usually a driving signal with a determined frequency higher than the driving frequency in the midst of printing operation is given to each head coil H1, H2, etc. of the print head 23 from the print controlling port 20 and each print wire is driven and controlled by a displacement not exceed the printing displacement. Accordingly the temperature of the print head 23 is lifted, when the detected temperature of the temperature sensor 24 exceeds the preset value, the preheating performance is stopped and normal printing operation is started in accordance with alphabetical codes CC inputted.
