Abstract
PURPOSE:To make direction conversion and reversing of a car at a narrow place, by detecting steering signals and an on-route signal with sensors provided to the top of a car for a track and controlling the speed of the car and forward/ reverse. CONSTITUTION:Motors 3 and 4 driving the driving wheels are provided to the left and right of the car center and idling wheels 5 and 6 are provided to the front and back parts. A sensor 8 detecting a route is provided to the top. A CPU9 (running controller) controls a steering signal from the route sensor 8, on/off of the speed control signal and forward/reverse of the motors 3 and 4. At normal running, the revolution of the driving wheels is controlled by giving the steering signal to a summing or subtracting point of a controller to run the car along the track. When the car reaches a point to change the direction, the car is stopped, the input of the steering signal is inhibited, and in accordance with the direction of turning one of the motors 3 and 4 is forwarded and the other is reversed to turn the car by taking the center of the wheel shaft as an axis. Thus, the turning to a desired direction and inversion of the direction of the car can be made even at a narrow space.
