Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable it to stabilize firing at the time of supercharging, by installing an ignition energy controller so as to raise impressed voltage to an ignition plug with the energized sensor output of a supercharger. CONSTITUTION:In the case where an engine 1 rotates at a high speed with a throttle valve 4 opened in full, a turbosupercharger 5 also rotates the way engine does, entering into a state of supercharging operation. In addition, the output of a supercharging pressure sensor 6 becomes increased, causing an ignition controller 7 or an operation amplifier 8 to grow large and the electric energy accumulated in a primary coil 9a at the time of a contact breaker 10 closed is increased whereby the generated voltage of a secondary coil 9b goes high at the time of the contact breaker 10 opened, thus a high voltage is impressed on an ignition plug 11. Therefore, even when internal pressure of the combustion chamber is high due to supercharging operation, accurate discharging can be obtained and, what is more, there is no longer unnecessary energy accumulated in the primary coil 9a at the time of non-supercharging, etc., thereby making power loss preventable.
