CONSTITUTION:A signal format of an optical signal OPD transmitted in an optical fiber cable OF consists of frames F repeated in the period of 125 microseconds and the frames F are divided into a reception time section RF and a transmission time section SF. An exchanger transmits a reception signal RD to an optical telephone set OT' are converting the signal into the optical signal OPD.
