Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a transmission of a designated audible signal to an optional terminal circuit regardless of the internal congestion of a switchboard, by connecting a digital coded audible signal source to the primary side of a time-division line concentrating swtich and then inserting the audible signal into a channel of the secondary side to which no multiplex signal is transmitted in order to transmit the audible signal to a terminal. CONSTITUTION:The multiplex signals supplied from a time-division channel switch TDSW are controlled by control lines C and D in correspondence to the input channels and then distributed to the PCM modulator/demodulator CODEC group A or B. In case the channel (i) supplied from the switch TDSW is distributed to the group A, the digitized audible signal is distributed to the group A.
