Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to inform the instruction easily and surely, by transmitting characters for the instruction by using an optical fiber from a reception side to a display device provided on a microphone. CONSTITUTION:An audio collected with a microphone 11 at a transmission section 1 is changed into an electric signal, converted into an option signal at a conversion circuit 14 and transmitted through an optical fiber 3a of a transmission line 3. At a reception section 2, the optical signal is inverted into the electric signal at a conversion circuit 21 and picked up at an output terminal 23. On the othe hand, a character signal inputted to an input terminal 24 of the reception section 2 is converted into a pulse code modulation signal at a PCM coding circuit 25, converted into an optical signal at a conversion circuit 26 and transmitted through an optical fiber 3b of the transmission line 3. The optical signal transmitted to the transmission section 1 is inverted into the electric signal at the conversion circuit 15 and applied to a decoder 16 to obtain the character display drive signal, and it is applied to a display device 17 fitted to a microphone console for display.
