Abstract
PURPOSE:To treat plural optical beams having different wavelengths in the same optical system by making the primary diffracted rays of these plural optical beams to parallel beams practically by using a prism to substantially unify their optical axes. CONSTITUTION:Two laser beams obtained by overlapping HeNe and Ar<+> laser beam on the same axis are diffracted by an optical modulator 1 so that Bragg condition is satisfied. The primary diffracted rays of these beams are projected from the optical modulator 1 with the expansion of angles, respectively. If an extremely thin prism 2 is set close to the optical modulator 1, the expansion of angles by these 2 laser beams is removed and parallel beams are formed, so that these beams are made substantially to same axial light and consequently can be treated in the same optical system.
