Abstract
PURPOSE:To effect the controlling operation of a room temperature quickly by a method wherein indoor air is flowed to the circumference of a temperature sensor when a fan is being either operated or stopped. CONSTITUTION:In a fan convector, a front panel 1 in front of an outer casing 4 is equipped with a suction port at the upper part and a blow-out port 3 at the lower part thereof, the inside of the outer casing 4 is divided into spaces A, B by a partitioning plate 9, a heat exchanger 7 and a fan 8 are provided in the space A while a control device 6, a motor 11 and a temperature sensor 11 are provided in the space B and an opening 9a is provided at the upper part of the partitioning plate 9. The blow-out port 3 is opened to the whole of the spaces A, B while the suction port 2 is opened to the space A only. Air is flowed from the suction port 2 to the blow-out port 3 of the space A through the space B and the opening 9a, when the fan 8 is being operated, while a rising air stream is generated by natural convection due to the heat of the heat exchanger 7, when the fan 8 is stopped. Thus, the indoor air is flowed to the circumference of the temperature sensor 10 at all times.
