Abstract
PURPOSE:In a flexible damped bearing to be used for such as the speed change gear, to exhibit the vibration suppressing performance well by driving a driving means in accordance to the relative displacement between the bearing and the static member and maintaining the gap at the fluid film dameper section uniform continuously. CONSTITUTION:The relative displacement between a bearing 2 resiliently supported by a spring member and the housing 4 or the radial displacement of the bearing 2 is measured by a displacement meter 13 of the housing 4. The measurement is inputed into the control section 18 while the control signal for bringing the difference between the setting from the input section 17 and said measurement into zero is provided from the control section 18 to the motor valve 15, then the opening of said valve 15 is regulated to supply the fluid from the fluid supplysource 16 to the bellow 12 thus to move the bearing radially to eliminate the difference through the fluid pressure operating on the bellow 12. Consequently the gap of the fluid damper film 5 formed by the inner-circumferential face of the housing 4 and outer-circumferential face of the bearing 2 is maintained uniform continuously.
