Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare a three-dimensional decorative board abundant with three-dimensional vision by such a method whereby a pattern is printed on a sheet of decirative original paper with an ordinary ink, and the same pattern is printed accurately over the previously printed pattern with a thermal foamy ink which is later caused to foam, and a decorative sheet is then prepared by coating the original sheet with a finishing paint and the decorative sheet thus obtained is pasted to a sheet of base board. CONSTITUTION:A pattern printed layer 13 is formed on a sheet of decorative original paper 11 by using an ordinary ink such as gravure ink, etc. Then a foamy ink printed layer 14 is formed by printing the same pattern accurately over the previously printed pattern by using a thermal foamy ink. After the foamy ink printed layer 14 is caused to foam by heating, the final coating paint layer 15 is formed by coating and drying the final coating paint primarily composed of a thermosetting resin such as amino alkyd resin, etc., or the foamy ink printed layer 14 is first coated with the final coating paint and then it is caused to foam by drying the final coating paint by heating to obtain a decorative paper 2. A three-dimensional decorative board 1 is obtained by pasting the decorative paper 2 to a base board 3 with an adhesive 4. The pasting of the paper to the base board 3 may be made in any stage after hating and foaming.
