Abstract
PURPOSE: After liquid fuel is mixed with steam under heating, steam reforming reaction is carried out by using catalyst reduced by feeding only liquid fuel, the catalyst is reactivated and the reaction is done. The titled converter for gasifying, relatively simple, for home use, etc.
CONSTITUTION: In mixing liquid fuel such as kerosine, gas oil, etc. with steam under heating and subjecting it to steam reforming reaction with a catalyst, the temperature of the reaction chamber 2 is raised by the heater 4, water is sent through the filter 13 to the double pipe 14 by the water sending pump 11, subjested to heat exchange and introduced to the converter 1 for gasifying. Water is then steamed at the bottom of the steam heating chamber 5, and introuduced as heated steam from the steam heating chamber 5 to the reaction chamber 2. Before this operation, the liquid fuel is sent to the reaction chamber 2 by the pump 9, vaporized by the steaming element 12 and heated to reduce the steam reforming catalyst 3. Steam is fed to the reaction chamber, the steam reforming reaction is carried out at the catalyst layer 3, the prepared gas is stored in the gas storage 18.
