Abstract

Apparatus for burning liquid fuels in a gaseous fuel burner, comprising means (12) for mixing the liquid fuel (14) and liquid water (16) in a selected ratio, subsequently heating the mixture of water and liquid fuel until both the water and the fuel are vaporized and then passing the mixture of hot fuel vapor and steam to the gaseous fuel burner.
