Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the heat collecting efficiency, by immersing evaporation assisting materials that facilitates evaporation in a working fluid of a gravity type heat pipe used in a solar heat collector. CONSTITUTION:By immersing the evaporation assisting materials 9 that can facilitate evaporation in the working fluid in the gravity type heat pipe 5, the working fluid will boil at the interface 6a between the gas phase and the liquid phase and the evaporation assisting materials 9 where the boiling is triggered, and bubbles are evolved to increase the substantial amount of the evaporation. As an evaporation assisting material use is made of ceramic such as boiling stone, metals, synthetic resins, etc.
