PURPOSE: To heighten the reliability of designed temperature of the heat accumulator by a method wherein nitride powder is uniformly dispersed and held in a heat accumulating material.
CONSTITUTION: The predetermined amount of the nitride powder is dispersed uniformly in the heat accumulating material main body, which makes good use of the latent heat generated at the change from liquid phase to solid phase. Aluminum nitride, boron nitride, titanium nitride or the like is employed as the powder to be dispersed. The mixing ratio of the nitride powder to the heat accumulating material main body is chosen as about 2W30:100 by volume. When the mixing ratio as described above is employed, the heat transfer roads connected with the nitride powder are formed in all directions within the heat accumulator and as a result the transport of the heat between the surface of the heat accumulator or heat exchange surface and every spot at the interior of the heat accumulator is uniformalized, resulting is enhancing the utilization rate of of heat energy to a high degree.
